What makes a great web development team
We believe there is one reason why Switchbox is so successful… We know how to hire and keep the best people. It has nothing to do with having the best web development tools (although we do), it doesn’t matter how many development seminars we attend (although we go to a lot); it’s all about who we hire. Great web developers are extremely hard to fine. Most companies look for people based on long qualification list like do they know PHP, ASP.Net, mySQL, jQuery, etc. We certainly look for those but for us it’s more about attitude and drive. All our developers love what they do, they think like our clients do, they want to build something that is a perfect fit not just a copy of another site. At the end of the day we get the job because we have the right people to do it.
