Netech is one of North America’s largest Cisco partners and installers. They have proven themselves as a leader in their industry and have worked hard to build a reputation on service and technical expertise.
Netech had been making significant investments in sales and marketing for years but was also seeing that it was harder to get clients from tradeshows and other marketing efforts to make the call to start a project. After so investigation they found that their old website was presenting a very poor impression of their company. Many potential clients thought their company was 3-5 guys working out of their homes when in fact they have 11 offices in 6 states.
Switchbox worked closely with Blue Laser Design to understand the core needs of the client from both a design and technical side. One major area of concern was that with a fast growing company keeping the site updated after launch was going to be difficult. Switchbox worked with the internal IT and marketing teams to ensure the content management system was developed in a way to allow content to be preloaded and then published over time. The robust parallax and responsive nature of the site also required special attention to allow for content types such as staff to be edited quickly even though the design required for multiple sized photos for each staff member.
The site was developed and Switchbox worked post launch to enhance the user experience by adding additional parallax animations, compressing images to optimize the site for mobile devices with slower internet connections, and to engage the staff in the marketing department to assist with content changes post launch.
