Forty years of research. A website that finally tells the story.

Switchbox built the public-facing website for Conity—OSU Spine Research Institute's spine health management platform—creating a data-driven educational hub on a staff-managed CMS, complete with an intuitive knowledge center for technical resources and a flexible foundation for future growth.

The Challenge

A product that needed a platform to be understood

Conity required a compelling, public-facing digital presence that could effectively serve as the primary educational resource for prospective customers. A critical aspect of the website’s mission was not merely to describe the product, but to first and foremost articulate the scale of the public health problem—the prevalence of spine disorders—that Conity is designed to address, backed by quantifiable statistics.

Beyond the educational and marketing mandate, the website also needed to be a functional resource, providing clear pathways for users to receive help and support, and easy access to technical resources such as plugins and drivers required for the proprietary hardware and software package.

Our Approach

Engineering an educate-first digital experience

Switchbox evaluated Conity’s target audience—healthcare professionals, commercial organizations, and government entities—and designed a CMS platform strategy that would put educational content front and center, establishing trust by grounding the product’s value in data.

We selected a CMS system that the client’s team could manage independently and scoped a knowledge center for technical resources and driver downloads. The flexible architecture was designed to accommodate future feature releases and content expansion as Conity grows in the specialized spine research field.

What We Built

A CMS-powered website built for education and support

A new web presence was engineered and deployed on an easy-to-use CMS, giving the client full control over content and page management without reliance on external developers.

An intuitive knowledge center was implemented to provide users with easy access to technical resources, plugins, and drivers required for Conity’s hardware and software package—reducing friction for new and existing users while minimizing direct support inquiries.

The flexible design and underlying code were developed to accommodate future feature releases and content expansion, positioning the platform for sustained growth.

The Results

A digital anchor for a growing platform

The successful implementation of the new website established a powerful digital anchor for the Conity platform. By clearly explaining the statistics behind prevalent spine disorders, the website immediately grounds the product’s value proposition in data—building trust and urgency with potential clients.

The knowledge center provides an accessible source for support, technical drivers, and essential plugins, reducing friction for users while minimizing direct support burden. The CMS and flexible architecture provide a future-proof foundation that scales with Conity’s anticipated growth.
