MedVet offers healthcare for pets including emergency and specialty veterinary care. MedVet is owned by its employees allowing them to provide an exceptional wide range of specialty services. The original MedVet website was difficult to navigate. The content pages had long loading times and it was not very responsive to smartphones or tablets. The content needed to be updated to showcase the services MedVet offers to its clients. MedVets previous site was not able to feature its veterinarians’ profiles and services.
Switchbox was able to implement a new design & create a new CMS platform. This made it easier to manage the data for everyone. Using the software Ajax, we were able to use real time loading options for the veterinary doctors. We were able to upgrade performance and speed allowing data to be user friendly and quick to download. In addition, we gave MedVet the ability to display customer testimonials on the website. We added reporting and contact us forms to optimize information gathering.
The overall result was increased functionality and user experience. The website is user friendly and enables users to find information quickly. The navigation of the website flows and makes it easy to move through pages. We were able to give MedVet more options for collecting data and real time information to be reported. This allows the ease of updating content on the website. Visitors to the site can now view all the MedVet staff, including their bio’s and areas of expertise. This adds a personal connection between client and the staff.
