Authenticity Always Wins, Especially in the AiX Equation

November 7, 2025

As the promise of AI continues to drive debate, dialogue and investment, we think it’s important to acknowledge the human experience in this historic phase of technological advancement. We are witness to how AI continues to improve, and recognize that opportunities for use continue to grow. With that in mind, we think the AI Experience (AiX), meaning the way humans and AI work together to create value, is one of the most important topics a business should be learning about, planning for, and investing in. Like any new technology, a big part of the planning and adoption of AI, is the need to amplify the authentic, human side of that equation.

A friend said something recently that stuck with me:

“Authenticity always wins.”

It’s a simple statement, but powerful, especially as AI tools become embedded in the way we work. At Switchbox, we’re leaning into AiX. Not because it’s trendy, but because when it’s used to enhance human creativity and ingenuity, AI is a valuable amplifier of our talents. AiX is not just automation for automation’s sake or outsourcing our judgement, rather the best results still come from real people, thinking critically, and applying empathy in the work we do.

Earlier this year, we held an internal “AI Cook Off” (yes, with cool prizes and everything). The goal? Encourage our team to explore, experiment, and figure out where AI could sharpen our work, not replace it. The outcome was better than expected: across the company, teams found smarter, faster ways to solve real problems, while staying grounded in what matters, human insight. Some of this work has already expanded to how we deliver to our clients. This investment in time and energy has helped define some working principles for our team.

Switchbox AiX Principles we’ve embraced:

  • Big A, little i. AI is a tool. It supports our thinking, not substitutes it.
  • Trust, but verify. We use it to speed things up, but the responsibility to ensure quality and accuracy is still our team’s responsibility.
  • Human-first always. Technology should make space for better conversations, deeper thinking, and clearer decisions – for us and our clients.

We’re not chasing shiny objects. We’re applying new tools with intention, so we can deliver custom solutions that are faster, smarter, and still unmistakably human.

That’s what AIX means to us.

Curious how you might benefit from AiX to drive better business outcomes?
