Outdated site lacked brand consistency and system sync
Condado Tacos needed a modern website that not only reflected their brand but also provided a cohesive integration with their current location management system.
Key requirements included a visually appealing and up-to-date design, seamless integration with existing systems, daily website and database backups, and a testing environment and deployment pipeline for efficient, low-risk updates.
Aligning brand, tech, and third-party systems
Switchbox worked with Condado Tacos to understand their brand identity, their existing Yext location management integration, and their operational needs for a site that staff could update independently.
We selected WordPress with the Cornerstone/X Theme page builders for WYSIWYG editing accuracy, and WP Engine for automated backups and deployment environments—planning an architecture that would give Condado long-term independence from outside developers.
Brand unity and staff autonomy
Switchbox developed a brand new, fully customized design based on Condado’s established branding guidelines. This included a custom-designed third-party location services interface built in partnership with Yext.
The site was built using the Cornerstone/X Theme page builders on WordPress, enabling code-less theming, templating, and consistent 1:1 WYSIWYG editing for on-the-fly layout and content changes. Hosted on WP Engine, the platform supports automated backups, deployment pipelines, and a testing environment—giving Condado staff full control over updates.
A modern experience staff and customers love
The result is an easy-to-maintain, modern website experience that both Condado staff and their customers love to use. Staff can update content, pages, and templates independently, and the deployment pipeline ensures low-risk changes can be pushed quickly.
Condado now has a digital presence that matches the creativity and energy of their brand, with the operational infrastructure to keep it current as the business grows.
